The chain measures 55cm (21.6 inches). It can be adjusted at 50cm (19.6 inches) and 45cm (17.7 inches).

Gold vermeil is a thick coating of gold over solid sterling silver, so the entire piece is composed of precious metals only. Vermeil is sterling silver that has been micron plated with 14k gold. Micron plating has undergone a process of electrolysis which is the most durable form of plating. To be considered vermeil, the gold must be at least 2.5 micrometers thick. When it comes to plated gold, most companies use a thin layer of gold over a cheap metal such as brass. We believe that gold vermeil the most luxurious option available at a reasonable price.
